GRANARY BOARD

| Also known as "brown board". Supplied in random lengths and widths. Sourced from barn grain storage bins, wall sheating, sub-flooring, shelving and other weather protected environments. Typically pine and hemlock and a full inch thick or thicker. Boards will display knots, nail-holes, stains, worm tracks and rodent gnaw marks. Highly sought after by furniture makers and flooring specialists because of its deep patina. When refinished, the honey brown colour translates into an otherwise unattainable warmth. |
