"Roofers" are very distressed boards available in random lengths and widths. They display nails, nail holes, stains, splits and a very dark patina called "air burn" caused by extreme summer conditions beneath the steel sheets on barn roofs. Roofers are re-used for vivid authenticity. Some "live edge" roofers are also availbable having un-squared edges that follow the profile of the tree trunk.
